Preserving the valued heritage of the urban streetscape, the architects utilise a simple style & materiality that celebrates Abbotsford’s industrial past. Featuring a limited material palette of concrete & red brickwork with metal detailing & balustrading, the design pays homage to the character of neighbouring masonry warehouses, using depth & shadow to provide visual richness & informing the exterior’s aesthetic.

A covered walkway softened by cascading greenery and lined with mature trees joins the Johnston and Little Turner Street sides, gently transitioning the shared community and retail spaces on the lower floors with private residential apartments above. Every luxury and convenience has been considered, with basement car-parking, bicycle parks, a central courtyard garden and generous floor-plans.
